THAT DOES IT!!!!

You 2 are coming with me on my next visit to Smokes.... I'm thinking I'll have given it a long enough break by as early as next Tuesday afternoon.

I cannot let one think that the simple combination of cheese, gravy, and potato = poutine. Not that there's anything wrong with the effort, but I can see that you 2 could use my help.

So I'm here to do so:D

That looks horrible, sorry Mikey. Homefries do not count, and neither does your cubed cheddar.

+1. Ewwwww

Oh that's nasty.

Matt, was it you who took pictures of the poutine? We really need those posted so everyone can see what real poutine looks like. I mean jesus, Harvey's poutine is more appetizing.

P.S. I'm still officially on vacation from the week of the 5th to 9th and I'm definitely up for another visit during that week (any day when I'm not falling on my ass out east).
FunkyCrew
lol pwned.

I might be working an earlier Friday (9-5pm) sometime soon, so might join you peeps :)

bahahahaha im sure by no means was that poutine as good as a true poutine.... but by far tasted much better than harverys and NY fries... it was actually really good.
(not that i have a whole lot to compare to)

When its cold and outside and you have a craving its fun to get a bit creative.

But yeah. Im up for some REAL poutine.

I'm a cheddar lover. And the gravy and cheese mix...I dunno...I prefer straight cheddar cheese sauce!

You and I like similar things; I think you should try it!!!
This is the first I am hearing of this place. I must check it out over the holidays...hmmmm, poutine :)

As for Mikey and Tara's slop for poutine, that is how mine always turns out when I attempt to make it at home, but with long fries and curds :(

I did...finally. Ian got some a few weeks ago and I tried it...I hated it. I don't like curds, I don't like the mozzarella, I don't like the cold cheese and the hot gravy mixed together, I don't like the taste of gravy and cheese together...blech. Just not my thing.
