Now 5-HTP and exercise takes the edge off. Otherwise, internalize and stomp around for a couple hours.

man. i can swear like an expert. i take no pride in it though.

but it's interesting how many different ways a person can use the word ''

when i get angry, i go for a long ass run. distracting self by tormenting. but hey, whatever works

or i just sleep it off. usually feel better next morning when i don't have the urge to kill...

Head over to the nearest Montesori day-care center. Isn't that what we all do?

Breathe.
Work out.
Ask myself if what I'm mad about will matter in a year's time. (This usually puts things in perspective pretty quickly.)

I think I have anger management issues. Its called road rage, and having douchebag bosses. Answer, flip the bird scream as loud as possible at the opposing driver for the road rage, honk, turn on high beams ect ect. Douchebag bosses, I punch the walls in the elevator. Makes me feel better. Running is good idea but I do that late at night so by then I dont really think about driving or bosses.

Meditation and Yoga. In other words, breathwork and mindfulness.

If the incident that made me mad is right in front of me I'll walk away before I say or do something I'll regret. If it isn't then I immediately call someone so I can vent it out and they'll probably have a few tips on how to deal. If no one is available I walk it out and do some major deep breathing. They make us all take anger management focus group at work once a month. It has actually helped a lot, especially with what I went through this year. I don't think it'd be so bad for anyone to take one or 2 of these classes.
