The trick is to vent small quantities of anger immediately, so that you never reach that blow-out point. If you are getting that angry then you're already mismanaging your anger.

I walk away. And I'll walk away until I don't want to walk away anymore, at which point I'll usually snap on the nearest deserving target.

When possible, I -run- for stress/anger relief. Sometimes though, it's a bit difficult to relax until I can do that :p

Alcohol sometimes too... you forget about problems pretty fast when faced! However again, sometimes this isn't possible (i.e. at work).

Getting baked truly is an awesome way to forget irrational feelings of anger...of anything really. Once you're stoned and reflect on how you were just thinking/acting, it all seems so ing ridiculous and embarrassing. At least that's how I feel. :o
