Same here. I mean I know a lot of music by ear and have heard a lot, but unless it really stands out to me and I buy it, I don't bother with trying to remember titles and stuff. There's just way too much music to know it all. |

But really I wouldn't do well enough, I barely listen to EDM anymore, and all the tracks there are EDM so, if you had like separate ID contest of other music gendersgenres, I'd atleast try :]] |

I can't speak for other contests, but you might like this one. All the tracks are not EDM (well in the traditional Trance, House sense). I tried to include a fair amount of rock, pop, hip-hop etc. to try to get more people to play....unfortunately, its had the reverse effect.
I wouldn't classify most if any of these tunes as new; someone with a strong background in music from 1994-2004 should do pretty well, provided your memory works as well as mine (say 33% or so).
Would definitely love to see you guys try and hear what improvements or changes you'd like to see... |
