I thought it was funny having Camel posted up everywhere at the event. They are giving out free drink comps (up to $5 value), free cigs and free lighters at the event also so try and find them heh.
There was a guy in the front of hte building playing by the appetizer thing Camel setup playing Beck - Loser dub...or a loop of a 4x4 (thats what we call it right?, or is it a bar, he was looping a bar?)
Anyways he was looping that and playing what sounded like a Jay-Z acapella over it. And I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. |

Hello,
I just want to avoid any confusion...Please keep in mind there is a $10 cover for this event. The RSVP list guarantee's entry in case of a line...I dont want people pist off in line if there is one...last year everyone decided to show up between 1130 and 12 which created a bottle neck at the door....just come up to the door and say your on the list to get ya in the door is quickly as possible...I dont suspect a turn out like last year but i could be wrong...
Please understand putting a show like this in a smaller market such as Milwaukee is hard to pull off because Robbie's Price tag is well over 7k...I dont normally book talent that expensive but since its my anniversary party i said screw it...if i lose my ass i lose my ass...I was the only sponsor for this event and all the funding was personal...There is so much more to say about this topic but will save it for another day....Please feel free to say hello and i will buy ya a drink for the support. Lets have some fun on Friday!

last year we had 1000 roll thru the doors and line down the block so i figured developing this list would help...
thanks for all the support over the years!

I can't believe someone would pay 7k for Robbie Rivera.
Just my opinion, but for those who enjoy that kind of music it must be worth it.
If it cost you 7k in Milwaukee it probably cost 7k here in GR. And I can't imagine they pulled in 7g's that night. |

well damn.
Im happy the door is $10 then! I will buy lots of drinks to keep your bar going. As long as the music is bumpin.
BUT BEWARE, THE SNOW COULD KILL EVERYTHING.
its been a bitch lately. |
