well, i went with the Blackberry Pearl and so far i hate it. :stongue:

i mean it's all nice and shiny and technologically fantabulous... but my god it's taking me forever how to figure out how to do the simplest things. i mean i guess i'd get used to it after a while, but as of now i'm giving myself a few days before i take it back and downgrade to something simpler.

my major gripe is that i really can't see myself getting used to SureType, and the qwerty keyboard isn't really full qwerty since you have to press most of the keys twice to type the 2nd letter on the key.

lol now i feel bad (i recommended the Pearl to her in a pm)

Once you get the typing down with practice its really quick but not having a full qwerty keyboard is a little rough. although when you get used to it you bang out texts quickly.

that's really odd about the picture texts, never had an issue with receiving or sending them to my ex's pearl and she didn't either.

sorry to hear the bad experience with ze pearl.

depending on your use of a phone.. smart phones can definitely be handy.

but the basic cellie is good and reliable..

i like blackberry style phones.. currently have a samsung blackjack, but its hard to navigate online, so looking for something new.

the data charges from some are $$.. guess it depends really what you are using it for..

check sig for some of the top accessories around.

Anybody have any info on HTC Fuze?

My ATT contract is up and thinking about upgrading from my Blackjack II.

Fuze = HTC Touch Pro. BADASS is all I can say. This phone alone is tempting me to jump to AT&T from T-Mobile who I have loved the 4.5 years I have had them.

For the specs here they are. http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=1472

edit//Also, since you are using a Smartphone Edition/Windows Mobile Standard device, it will take some real getting used to the Windows Mobile PPC/Windows Mobile Professional Edition devices. Things are located differently in many ways and there are more settings options available.

Definitely will check that out. Thanks for the heads up on the Windows thing too.

No problem. Also, if you do get the Fuze/Touch Pro, you have a MASSIVE community at your disposal at www.xda-developers.com. I am on there too and LOVE the place. Great resource to have. :)

Any other questions about it, feel free to ask.

It isn't so much the phone, as the 3g network.
