| get the olympus evolt 510 with the two lens kit. you can get for around $500 for body and lens (recently came out with 520, so that dropped price a bit). great beginner camera |

just interested in your reasoning here. I understand Nikon/Cannon are the heavy weights, but for the value you cant go wrong with the 510. i have had for about a year now and have had no complaints what so ever. Again, not saying your wrong, just want to know why you would put olympus at the bottom. |

No it doesnt.
The Nikon D90 does HD Video @ 720p.
The only Canon to shoot video is the 5D Mark II, and it shoots at FULL HD, 1080p, significantly higher quality than 720p.
I'd recommend the 50D over the D90 anyway, who cares about video when it sucks (not the picture quality, but the execution of recording video; no auto-focus!?) |
