Winter hobbies

I'm watching the news and looking at the snow that's come down in parts of Ontario and I'm thinking, I need a winter hobby. wtf do people do to enjoy our miserable winters? How hard is it to get into snowboarding or skiing?
Vivid Boy
you'regonna have a sore ass your first year of snowboarding.

skipper, take up indoor sports. indoor soccer, volleyball, swimming, muay thai,

if you want to enjoy the snow i suggest: hockey, skating, snowboarding, skiing, snowman making, and sleding. join a bobsled team, buy a plow, 2 man lougging, sell snow angels online.
Skipper
I don't want indoor sports...that defeats the purpose of having a seasonal hobby.

snowboard is easy to pick up. Best advice....try on a day with a snowstorm. Much easier to learn and softer on the ass!
