I could justify it if there were other djs on the bill, just a bit cheeper, or closer to me in location... but all these factors just suck.
I spent $25 to see him and MANY others in July. I refuse to spend so much just because its NYE... mega textbook purchasing to do just around the corner. | ]
I think $75 is far.. I would predict they have a rental fee for the location as well as the DJ fee.
Seems normal for NYE. |

The space is not very warehouse... (in fact we have a POP in the middle of it!) it's gorgeously, actually perfect for a party... this will be hot.
|
errrrrrm what is a POP?!

We complain of lack of venue changes for Lawler when he comes to the city.
We finally get one people. So annoying.
Thanks to this crew for putting something different out there... |
Yea i'm with you on this. By all accounts so far it sounds like it will be in a pimp venue and like you said it is FINALLY something different. I hope i'm not setting myself up for a letdown but I have a really good feeling about this night (music / venue / crowd).

I think it's fair too. Considering its NYE (most expensive night of the year), and considering the location it's in ($$$) and the DJ's they have booked ($$$).

I dunno. It would have been cool but at the same time i'm pretty happy with a 5hr set from Lawler on NYE. And M+S opening things up works for me too. I don't think id choose another local over them to get the party started. |

i think it is very fair. venue rental, sound rental and lighting rental isnt exactly cheap. |

chinamon speaks the truth..toronto has to be one of the cheapest places in the world to party. go anywhere else and see how much you pay for the kind of talent that we get in toronto on a regular basis for $10-20.
haha and yes jay, i don't think liberty village will know what hit it! |

| I think this will be really good i loved Lawler for New Years in Montreal Last year and i think this is were i will be this year.... and the cost is fair for new years. |

| This sounds like a possibility.... Lawler put me to sleep the last couple of times I heard him, but I'm willing to believe that he plays better in Toronto. |
