Personally, I'd rather pay less money for a lineup of good locals rather than two to three times the price for a five hour set that could be hit or miss. But, I may be alone with this opinion.

What's tempting about this party is that it's right across the street from me. Literally, my window faces the venue. If I leaned out just a bit I could probably spit on it (not that I would, I like the liberty market). I better not plan on sleeping at all this New Years :eyes:

So after party at your place ;)

The organizers must have paid an arm and a leg to get Lawler for NYE. $75 seems pretty fair.

What is capacity of the place? What time is it zoned for, ie how late do you guys think this will go?

My guess is 5ish

His performance was @ his 1st set @ Skybar & it was legendary. Every other party was sketchy.

Tmaster said capacity is 7000, so I'm thinking 1000

I beg to differ....the sketch factor was noticibly lower at his last party here compared to those in the past few years...the music was upbeat, bouncy and refreshing....just like the crowd.

That is their idea of "warehouse"?! Jokes! I was seriously hoping for some venue like how they did it back in the old underground days! This is more like a plain manufacturing plant or some art studio loft. I actually attended a charity event here a few months ago.

Were we at the same party? lol.

The Skybar was a trainwreck on Canada Day. Not that I'm complaining. :disbelief
