Purepillz makes the National Post
View this Thread in Original format

Health Canada is taking steps to all but ban a new, halucinogenic party drug that it says is becoming increasingly popular, has potentially dangerous side effects and is essentially unregulated now.

The department is proposing to declare BZP and other members of the piperazine class controlled substances, making possession and trafficking in the drugs a crime except for purposes authorized by the government. The move, announced in a notice published Saturday, would effectively end the pills' current street status as the "legal ecstasy."

FULL STORY

So another example of the government being pissed off because they can't make money off something so they want to ban it.
chinamon
in a way i am glad that the government is looking in to that drug.
purepillz markets their product as a safer alternative to other illicit drugs when they dont have any scientific proof that it really is safer. they are just claiming it is safer because the government hasnt gotten around to it.

Exactly... Just because it hasn't been deemed illegal, people think it's safe or ok. Not saying the illegal ones are much healthier, but at least they are not being passed off as some healthier or safer alternative...
Dj Gracjan
i do agree with you guys on that, but the only thing that I agree with the pills is that everyone of them is made the same. Which is why I rather people do something that I know they will survive rather than taking a risk everytime

^ME TOO!!!

the idea of purchasing a halucinogenic party drug that is unregulated absolutley makes my blood boil!!!

Just kidding I don't judge (yet)

Regardless, my point is either all drugs are legal or no drugs are legal. I usually don't chime in on this issue because Im not a psychologist or psychiatrist but new evidence has been presented to me and prescription meds are apparantely comparable to these purepillz in certain circumstances.

Correct me if Im wrong BUT....

/end smartass comment

*real edit*

anyone who takes anything consciously....(it sounds much funnier if pablo fransico describes the transatcion) should know the risks involved.

just because a product is consistent doesnt mean it is safer.
it could be more consistent with ingredients that have the potential of being more dangerous.

Here we go again! :p

Please ban it....Didn't we learn anything from Ephedrine folks?

True enough. This is just one of those things I guess that can be argued till forever since there hasn't been enough research done, but I'm sure the over the counter pills they sell aren't too good for us either. Regardless I could care less really since I stopped doing chemicals years ago with the occasional and rare use from time to time when I'm drunk and somehow someone manages to trick/peer pressure my drunken mind :whip:
