It's pretty pathetic that even the people who play there realize this.

DJ Mike B. Enough said.

lol I can't believe Mike B is still gigging it. To his credit he has gotten a lot better since I first heard his sets.

Scott. Stop, just stop. Gotten better doesn't mean gotten good. I'll never forget the night he was playing PVD at +140 opening for A&B who then came on at the lower to mid 130s. Everyone just looked at each other and was like, WTF.... not to mention, Mike in his early 2000 days where his mixing sounded as fluid as blending a smoothy with a Black and Decker. Oh, and that ever endearing cocky, pseudo ghetto appreciative attitude.

Yea, pretty much, he sucks. Born sucking, has continuued to suck, and sadly, will suck till the end.

But, you gotta give the guy the cockroach award. Manages to survive, regardless what clubs open and close and what dood decides to pay him or print his name.

Regardless, once his name is attached to a club/event/anything in life, it's reached rock bottom and the only way up, is to bitch and moan, except it and move on. An endless cycle of Mike B, where the beginning has no end and the end has no beginning..... he simply is as he always has been... and always will be, Mike B.

Is Mike B still taking off his shirt midmix?

I have heard of Mike B, but I thought he was a hip hop dj. I didn't realize he opened for PVD and Above and Beyond. I just went to his Myspace and he has a song called Obamafied. It's Obama speeches played over Pjanoo. Major fail.

lol, that's kind of copyright infringement.

edit: LOL @ crowd reaction! The speech is like two times as loud as Pjanoo too.

YEP, pretty ty place to play as a local DJ. My sets were attempted to be controlled, as them trying to say what I needed to play. Sad state of large clubs in ATL that needs a revamp.
