in my humble opinion, am not a big fan of calderone, but when he was here at least 4 times a year in 08 is it a good idea to book him again for BEB? why not book someone who was not booked here for a while?
of course he could save BEB when u got the likes of guetta and offer nissim djing before him...come on
honestly am not looking forward for this years BEB cuz am pretty sure its aimed at the cheese crowd....i tried to have fun last year and it was the worst experience ever...remember nic fanciulli at beb? oh those were the days...:( |

I must say I am impressed with most of the bashing..again you guys should be thankful you don't live in oh say Vermont where none of this stuff exists....Then again i argue with the people who are arguing for change.
Definately change is needed and there are sooooo many names to choose from I dont understand why we stick to the same ones over and over..Im a trance head so last years Bal en Blanc was by far one of the best for me. Ferry/armin/menno..that was a good back to back lineup...But i have seen armin so many times now that i just pray hes not here again. Bringing back A&B is good but they were here in 2007....
how bout some:
Galen Behr/Andre Visor/Stoneface & Terminal/Alex Morph/Daniel Kandi/Cold Blue/Paul Miller/David Newsum/DJ Shah/Carl B/Shulz/Nitrous Oxide/Jon Obir/Giuseppe Ottaviani/Ben Gold/just to name a few...
Anyone else would like to see any of these names...? |

| This thread happens every year, oddly enough it is always around this time too. The PLUR levels in the water must be higher or something holdiay season. |

I concur 100%. I recall (2006 I think) Nic had spun quite early on, in the tech room...he laid down 16 Bit Lolita's "Sedna" and that bassline was engraved in my mind for months. He should totally be re-booked. He's so diverse he can play his big-room electro-tech choons in the tech side, or spin his funky chunky grooves on the house side. |

Last's year's music was such a disaster on the house side (notwithstanding Gervais and Calderone)I felt I had to "rattle some cages". Not sure if it will accomplish anything, but can't blame a guy for trying ! ;) |

that explains why he has been one of the most downloaded artists on Beatport, scored an Essential Mix on Radio 1, and is so in demand |
That is the worst argument I've heard this year. |
