hey guys. I have a bunch of uplifting and melodic trance in my possession but i am lacking in the department of dirty hard trance for later on in my sets. Like a said before im kind of new to trance and I dont know where to start. I have a few songs like Nenes - platinum and joop -The Future but it like 10:1 uplifting vs hard songs. I was wondering if you guys could help me out and point me in the right direction. Thanks!
p.s. the reason i posted it in the forum is because i do believe that people for different places had different styles of music that they like. I really like the the way music is played around toronto. |

dunno dude..u have to search and search urself...or go through djs' charts...
sites I use for buying music:
www.beatport.com
www.djdownload.com
www.trackitdown.net
u cant expect people to recommend tracks for YOU to play...that would basically mean u didnt decide what ur crate would look like then |

Or you could just search around for some sets of your favourite DJs and take the tracks from their set list...

I would think the easiest option is:
Listen to sets you like
Find the tracklist
Go to beatport
But like Liam said... you should pick your music collection on your own. Find songs that make you move, its important to have a style that represents who you are... not what other people like.
Good luck :) |

See my above post.
Play what you like not what Toronto likes. Bring different things into the scene, thats what will make you successful. |

A great place to download sets and most the time the tracklists are there, or are in the works...
Otherwise, I use google... but I am sure there is a better source that I dont know about. |

i did not say this. I said i like the way music is played in toronto. Of course i will play the way I want to but that is not to say that i am not influenced a bit by the area i am around.
