I got mine towed the night Jason was playing. Currently fighting the $110 ticket and possibly trying to get my towing fee back. The car should not have been towed because I was in the legitimate time frame to park. I always parked there when 47th ST. (btwn 11th & 12th ave.) got full.
So any of you, especially the out of towners coming down for this, don't park on 48th & 12th. Dangerzone :eyespop: :whip: |
thank you thank you thank youuuu! Actually - Do you have any tips on where to park over night.. like... i.e. Friday early evening until Sunday morning ish.. Me and Sam are driving up ;) |

The 100% sure thing would be to park in a garage somewhere near the club. Didn't you guys park in the Pacha garage (back entrance) when you came to see Dresden at Cielo? I was just about to ask you how much that costs :P Might be for employees I was thinking.
OR you can park on 47th near the west side highway which is btwn 11th and 12th ave. That's where I normally park if there's space. The same sign is there, but never had any problems. |

yup we usually park at that back entrance, its 30 bucks not too bad. Im sure a garage for that long would end up being much more but i guess it is better than being towed and ticketed haha.. poor mike :( i hope you win that battle!!!
yea ill have to do some research or something so i dont lose an arm and a leg... Sam any ideas chica> ;) |

Well, the parking lot right on the other side of Pacha is ALWAYS my fav- back when I had the benz the guy even knew me by name and only charged me $20- now we're at $26 I think he liked the benz better than the ford?? hahaha
Anyways, yeah, we can keep it there- except the fact that where we are sleeping is about 14 blocks away- so thats a no go.
honestly we are going to have to pay a lot for parking so our best bet is to do the pacha parking (because well be there for a while) and then overnight parking near Chan's and take a taxi from Chans to LOVE- other wise we're looking at $110 about for the three garages all together. If we do TWO its about $60-70 and about $20 for cab fair that we will all split- so a $20 savings
and...now we will note that no one on the forum gives a damn about our parking arrangements !! hahahah well talk "offline" about this Lee ;)
um, a little redemption:
last years Markus @ Pacha GDJB World Tour extended 5.5 hour set...the man was crazy- I dont have such great pics because I was RIGHT BEHIND HIM the whole time. Yes, Im bragging. And its never going to stop.... I cant find who did the "professional" ones though- i dont see that Peter was there- and I know Mikey wasnt there...

| ^Elyse, I think you can try parking on the streets for one of the nights. Like on Pacha for instance. As long as ur license isn't suspended, you're fine :) Recommend 47th ST! |

best bet is to park at a meter by pacha along 11th ave
theres always spots
they are free till like 7am so as long as markus is done by then you shouldnt have a problem |

Im the one driving...so its a no go. I dont do street parking my car is too new, im no dumby!! I cant afford for any of the parts to be ripped off and sold as Found On Road Dead parts (aka.... I cant afford someone to sell them as "after market discount FORD parts")
Its not pacha there is a problem with its the parking at LOVE.....
:) we got pretty freaking lost last time looking A) for parking B) for our cars after the club and C) the money for the RAISED parking once we got to the car
(the garage we went to said $35 all night- we verified that this meant through 7am) and then when we got there at 4am (3 hours early!!) they told us we needed to pay an addition $16 late pick up fee!! WTF!! :( |

| This might sound stupid, but a few times when I couldn't find parking near the club I would park someplace far from the club and take a subway or cab to the club and back to my car at the end. It saves the fees & worries of a parking garage and saves the frustration of driving around looking for a close spot. |

im actually a really big fan of Al (im not sure if thats his real name- thats what I call him and he answers to it)- the parking guy right there at pacha. no walk, no lines. you can get back to your car (unless you forget to ask them not to put it on top) and the dude knows me. Its cheap- around 26 bucks and you can most definitely leave it there all night.
im sticking with that :) |
