What was on the side of the mixer tho? 3 main knobs on it with an FX button on the bottom of it. People kept asking me what it was. Only saw it one other time. Super DJM 800? :p

ohhh, then they were using the DJM 1000. We used that on Jason's night as well. ing sweet mixer.

I know the 1000 comes with a master EQ as well as Booth EQ...thats what the silver thing on the right is. Its actually really helpful if you're playing in a booth where the output is really bassy. You just turn the his and mids up and the bass down to get that clearer, punchier sound.
I think the internal components are a little more high end as well, making for better overall sound. I can't really see the sound difference being that much different between them unless you're installing it in a club.
The 1000 also doesn't have the built-in effects unit that the 800 does though.
Not sure what else is different.

omg! he played no one on earth!!! :( damnit i knew i shouldnt have visited the basement at all... one of the times i did I came back upstairs and my friend was like OMG DID U JUST HEAR VINCENT DE MOOR - FLY AWAY?????? and then I swore to myself I wouldnt leave the dancefloor ever again.... but sadly I had to pee numerous times.
