We took a couple jagger-bomb shots with one of the organizers... his name escapes me, not Michel. And I pressed him to have piknic/igloo all year-round hehe :p
I don't think it would work until 3h given that it's outside...most outdoor shows finish even earlier than that (Parc Jean Drapeau is 11pm I think).
sick sick sick party. It was a much smaller crowd than last year's opening for Josh Wink & Misstress Barbara, but the people that WERE there were the diehards and it showed with their energy!

As far as Maher & I know, his set wasn't recorded...And IF it was, it will only be released by Techno.FM
Good thing too. Cuz that set of his was indeed a once in a lifetime experience. The kind that the recording wouldn't feel exactly the same, wouldn't do it justice. Same for Lee as well (although I rly appreciate Jesse's recording); good times were had all around.
A HUGEEEEEE thank you to all Igloofest organizers, promoters, interviewers, bouncers, bodyguards...everyone who helped make this night happen and who took such amazing care of Maher & I.

Listening right now, sounds good but nothing like actually being there like Erika said.

It was absolutely mentalist. Got there around 9:15 and caught some of Maher's banging set. Really good man, you got the crowd into a great groove and set it up just right for the madman.
Lee was off the hook, really fantastic set. Can't believe he played Acid in my Fridge, that track is mad old but it was a remix so I guess it's all right. He finished the night off in a peculiar way though, played some really old old school beats and then dissappeared into the crowd?!!?!? Erika or Maher: what was up with that?
Either way, for my first Igloofest experience it was a total blast and I can't wait for Holden to grace those icy decks..hopefully the music doesn't stop randomly like it did for Lee :/ |

| does anybody know what compagnies were taking pictures at igloofest? some dude took pics of us but he was behind the fence infront of the DJ so i couldnt ask him who did he work for, any ideas? (besides igloofest.ca ) |

It might have been Piknic's "official" photographer, Miguel Legault.

lol no i know i totally know what you mean, but the pics are not even good... there are 2 sets of 3 pics that look alike...
plus..there were what 6 igloo nights?? he only took pics of 1 (thats whats on his site)
anyways, other website suggestions where i could find pics? |
