Some tracks unmentioned that I remember. All in all, I have to say this was probably one of the most impressive sets I have heard in a long while. This truly took me back - Twilo, Roxy, etc.. This was a good one! ;)

great set. compared to other pvd roseland gigs i thought the dancefloor and upstairs was empty.
few highlights for me:
Paul van Dyk - Forbidden Fruit
Lisa Miskovsky - Still Alive (PvD remix)
Paul van Dyk - Animacion (thanks Umer!)
60th time seeing Paul and he definitely brought it! The first hour was amazing. Only complaint was that he ended the set at 4:19 and then played encores and finished before 5. I could have done without the NBY or TOOL. Gone are the days of massive sets until 8 or 9am. :( |

| We are on the balcony chillin all of a sudden who comes walking by none other than judge jules.. so im talking to him and man either he was really F*cked up or just strange. All he did the whole time was rip on PVD and say I can do this and I can do that. PVD is for kids and so on. So I turned to him and laughed in his face and then told him he is a weird dude I walked away. Well 2 mins later he is talking to a friend of mine and he is doing this weird thing after every word he is flicking his tounge out like a snake and still rippin on PVD. So I turn to my friend and go yo that’s judge jules F’n dude is a creep. So he turns around comes over by judge. My friend was wasted and picks both his arms up over his head and gives two thumbs down right to judge jules face. I know sounds stupid but at the time it was hysterical to see Judges face. Cause as a Dj i cant stand the guy. So Judge then walks away. But rest of the night man this guy was a creap acting so weird. Hard to explain with out seeing what he was doing to explain to you how he was acting but what a weirdo. Like you come all the way from England to NY to rip on PVD??? If you don’t like him why are you here and like 5,000 miles from home watching PVD. Judge had no gigs in NYC at all this weekend? |

| trust me i wasnt the only one who met him... There were about 15 of us up there. and yes it was Judge Jules the people from made events even later in the night tride to re-introduce him to me as well as we were leaving. But whatever i know its a weird story but yes it did happen i haven no reason to lie. |

Glad I surprised a few with my cameo appearance. Sorry I missed the rest of youse. As it turns out, that was a "first date" I was on, so I had to TRY and feign interest in that kid. Know I love you guys! <3
As for Paulie, well I think his track selection was...trancey. Goodness, that was a beautiful surprise. Honestly guys, I can only deal with tech-house for about 20 minutes. Then I need something to wake me up. Had lots of fun, um when I wasn't losing people or waiting half a ing hour to piss. :rolleyes: So, I did hear him get a little choppy here and there (didn't anyone else hear missed cues and downbeats?) but, he quickly recovered. Glad I splurged.
Oh, sick ass lasers and videos. What was the song during "Nightmare Before Christmas", the first time when Jack was up there? Thanks! |
