| Alright, it, I'm in. I somewhat take back my earlier comments, but I still feel the track as a whole is a piece of crap. It definitely has remix potential, however, as there are a few select elements that just barely pass for good tech trance. |

Haha for some odd reason I feel like holding on to it now.
What I had done with the vocals though was run them through melodyne and detect the pitch. Then I quantized to 1/8 beat and centered the pitch.
Melodynes great because it will slightly timestretch or condense every individual spoken syllable at once so their peaks hit perfectly on beat.
But then you lose a certain human feel to the vocals too. W/e the case I'm still not sure whether handing them out is a great idea, its more like a "look what I can do" situation to make it easier for amatures like myself to work with the vocals. |

hopefully we have the chance to hear the other remixes though (even if it's after the comp is finished), i was being serious that i'd like to hear yours :)
should be lots of talent and different styles flying around willy-nilly for this thing! :D |

I don't have a list of TA names, most just sent a request with their own names on it, and i think some might be confidential about it, so i can't publish a list of that... but you can however make your own list with people here stating that they are in.

Yeah, thats what I was aiming for. If you want to be added to the list then feel free to post your name/artist name and I will update. If you don't want too that's fine, but I might cry a little inside. |
