on the beach in grand bend a couple of years ago, I forgot plastic bag with my wallet, shorts and keys in the washroom. About 100 meters from the washroom i realized and ran back, but it was already gone. The OPP called me a week later to tell me that someone turned in my wallet.. sans cash ($300).
I dropped my phone in a Taxi last year. The taxi driver called my house to say he found it, and brought it by a couple of days later. Tossed him some coin as a thank you. |

I lose things ALL THE TIME....well, more like misplace things.... luckily I usually find whatever I misplaced again.
Lost my 1 month old digital camera one night. Didn't want Sarah to be upset so I bought another the next day. One week later the camera showed up in someone else's coat pocket from the house I was at. Hmmm....
Funniest item that never came back to me:
In University, I left a pair of shoes in the cab. Feet were sore... got home... forgot to take the shoes with me. :eek: |
