Does anyone else think it's a bit perverse for Louis Puig to be booking himself more and more frequently at Space? I cannot imagine the rationale for his increasingly frequent appearances. Personally I don't enjoy his sessions and he brings no mystique to a show. Is he trying to save money by spinning his own sessions? Is he disillusioned and now believes he's a headliner?
It almost reminds me of the arrogance of Vince McMahon of the WWE. It wasn't enough to own a billion dollar empire; he had to become involved in the matches and story lines.
If I'm just a jackass and missing something, let me know. |

Well, he doesn't book himself. He just gets up there and attempts to mix.
But mark my words: Louis Puig will be the biggest Cuban DJ since a young Fidel Castro spun with dirty underwear in his room. |

Well, if you owned a club worth that much wouldnt you want to DJ in it. Weather hes got skills or not one of the things I learned about some Miami local residents this past weekend was that they suck. You think LP was bad, you have no idea the torture I had to go through waiting for Tommie Sunshine to get on at the Vagabond on friday. It was the worst mixing I have ever heard in the club and the guy thought he was killing it.
My thoughts were exactly what was said on the pvd review, it was an EDM rollercoaster but it could have been worse, wayyyyy worse |
