Listening to it now, and i'm not impressed. I can understand that this is supposed to be chosen by the fans/audience, but i guess they all have no taste. There are a few good tracks, but overall it's filled with poppy vocal tracks. anyway, here is the tracklist for those that haven't seen it:

what a crap year of trance according to this. at least it's being mixed pretty well so far, and i know that's a big part of these kind of things.
i did read that he could not get some tracks approved by the record companies for use. i still can't figure out why Inertia - The System isn't on here...he even said it was one of the greatest tunes of this year. |

i think that's what will be playing. It came out on CD on Tuesday...i just happened to borrow it from the internet. |

| Armin has found the end. He no longer needs to make fun of Dj Sammy; he's just headed that direction anyway. |

| With exception to a few tracks that I am fond of, this TL is . Armin has truly either lost it or just gotten so lazy that he looks at the Billboard Top 40 and creates a mix from that. |

That's about the same conclusion i came to. i think his yearmix peaked at 2005 and it's just gone downhill from there. |

agreed. whenever i listen to yearmixes 06 and 07 and go back to 05, i realize just how bad they really are. i'm so upset that Armin has gone this direction. Both him and Tiesto are where i got my start and to compare them from when i started to now, i would never think of listening to them. Armin's ASOT radio shows used to kick so much ass and i would listen to them religiously every week. i don't think i've made it all the way through an episode now for over a month. recently, i haven't listened to any at all. i just got tired of hoping that he would improve and being let down every week. |

Couldn't have said it better. :: Loading Coolness :: We or maybe I should say ya'll since I don't beddroom Dj anymore and in the process of selling all my vinyl on eBay (going pretty well actually !! PM me and maybe I can meet some of you guys here in San Antonio so you wonn't have to pay shipping and those who live in other area of Texas I will knock a dollar off each record price we agreed to after "best offer" This is only for the People in TX/TA that I know of you in the TX/TA Threads, everyone else pays full PRICE) but anyway maybe Dj's need to start alligining themselves with producers who are more on the cutting edge of trance and Progressive changing into 2010. I still Feel Anjunabeats is strong and I love Matt Dareys Nocturntal Nights. M.I.K.E. has a good show with some different tracks as well. Not sure what Markus Schulz is up to these days. I haven't been on di.fm in like 4 months or more. Joop is always the one that has an almoast a full "ID" tracklist. Plus keep using tracks from producers on T/A in your sets to keep it in the family. I can find you different Producers with good songs that they will let you play threir songs let you remix
I was on a bowl of Salvia 30x Mint favour so I feel like I am talking to different enties like alliens behind this and they made this box full of light so i could talk into it....I should proof read this befpre posting have to proof read. it might come out funny for all hahahahaha it...lets set if it makes any sense considering I am not wealthy enough to do what I want with the music I like... |

Isn't this what a yearmix should be though? All the tracks that got the most response from his radio shows and sets. It may be more commercial now, but that is going to happen with anything people can make money off of...
This tracklist for me, does summarize a lot of the shows I attended this year and they do bring me back to that moment. |

yea, but the only problem is it's called a state of TRANCE and hardly any of those songs are even remotely close to trance. |
