prepare for your interview! there is nothing worse than being unsure of how you are going to answer a question. For me the nervousness came from the fear of not being able to answer questions correctly.

Also, it helps if you don't really care about getting the job. Every interview i've been on when i already had a job was succesful (i.e., i got an offer). I don't expect that streak to continue, but it's nice to say for now.

I've stopped stressing for interviews after I realized that my getting the job or not had little or nothing to do with my performance.

Don't over prepare. You want to make it sound natural like you're having a conversation not sounding like a robot. Don't over think everything and stress yourself out. Know your stuff and know the company, you never know what question about the company itself they might ask you. Get a good night sleep the night before, eat a great breakfast the morning of and go get 'em.

Try to get the interview site early (at least an hour) and find a coffee shop around the area so you can relax. That way you be taking your sweet time to the interview and you give yourself extra time in case you have problems getting to the interview site.

Just remember that they wouldn't be interviewing you if they didn't need you. I always go into interviews sort of cocky. I know I have the skills they want, so what are they going to do for me?

People always think interviews are one sided, but you should also be sizing them up to find out if they are the kind of company you want to work for.

It helps alot if you go into it with the mindset that you are interviewing them.
