yes I have finally decided the fact that "Slumdog Millionaire" should be labeled "the feel good bandwagon story" of 2008, just like "Juno" was the same label in 2007.

:)

... and yes i label this movie in 2008, because the movie was released last year.

FINALLY saw it. What can I say that hasn't already been said? A brilliant film in every aspect.

Superb.

Pretty much my stance on it.

Slumdog Millionaire's very much a typical bollywood movie. Only, it's made by a non-indian director for a global audience.

A couple more of A.R.Rahman's super famous tunes.

"Bombay" movie theme - From a live concert (No vocals)

Song from movie "Taal" with Aishwarya Rai.

Will have to watch it, everyone says it is an awesome film. (:
Not a lot of good movies as of late, hopefully this will be one.

amazing film. don't have much else to add that hasn't been mentioned here.

coincidentally, i saw trainspotting for the first time the night before, not really knowing who danny boyle was until googling it then... enjoyed it just as much. only other movie of his i saw of his was sunshine, which i was partial to... but the thing that stands out exceptionally in all three are the soundtracks. paper planes, blondie - atomic, and the epic theme when the dude gets burned in the astronaut suit all make me feel fuzzy now

no. i think ur confusing this with Chandi Choke to China. your typical bollywood film has the same ing structure over over again. and enough with the singing and dancing please. Ram Gopal Varma tried changing that format in bollywood and he got it right with Sarkar and its sequal, Sarkar Raj. no singing dancing in those films. great ing films.
