What's the relationship between this film, 2046 and Days of Being Wild? I heard it's a trilogy :conf:

Any special reason why you didn't like it?
As much as I love Song Kang Ho (the North Korean sergeant), I thought the movie was a little too over the top, esp. the ending. Didn't like the acting of Lee Young Ae either. (The swiss major)

Oh, I see. I'm a drama queen, that's why I think I liked it :p
Anyway, talking about bad acting, the blond guy was so pathetic it was comical :stongue:

Domesticated
I find it humorous that everyone is suggesting deepish arthouse movies (good selections by the way) when the original poster is clearly in the mood for some cheap action...albeit with a storyline and decent acting.
That being the case, I would suggest Ong Bak & Chocolate, two martial arts movies by Thai director Prachya Pinkaew.
The stunts and martial arts moves in these movies put anything else I've seen to shame. The female lead in Chocolate trained full time for four years prior to filming and was taken to hospital during shooting after falling three stories through a scaffold where a fight was being staged. These are pretty much as close to the real thing as you can get.
