Bah. I can list at least a dozen fav tunes from 08. 2008 has been a good year for EDM IMO

thats a matter of opinion. i happen to like it and im not the only one. you just like your dark mood prog and thats fine. I like my uplifting tracks.

Just because many people like it, doesnt mean it's good.
Call me elitist or whatever, but if I wanted to listen to pop, I'd turn to a top40 station or Z103.
Oh, try not to assume what I like or dont like. I've been listening to trance since 2001-2002 and still listen to it today.
