:gsmile: in 18 years of life i just did for the first time
I'm at work , lunch break, on the computer which is like a folding table for 2 computers, there's a guy next to me using the comp and all of the sudden i feel like this weird movement on my chair ... i was like wtf is wrong with this guy... and all of the sudden he's like.. are you moving or is there an earthquake going on...
i was like :eyespop:
it lasted like 3 minutes
:wtf: i instantly called my mom because she is extremely scared of quakes... last time she felt one her blood pressure went to 18 and she kept crying.
it felt cool tho :toocool: |

Her blood pressure went to 18? Hopefully her heart rate didn't go over 4lb/ft. |

yes. early this year actually the UK was hit with a very rare one. We get odd ones at like 1 or 2 or less but we had a 4.7 which hit just before midnight. I thought my chair was ed because all of a sudden the arms of it were vibrating against my desk, but i was pretty tired so thought it might've been an illusion too until ste & other ukta's whoalso lived close to the epicentre began asking around & I turned the tv on and reports came in. It was quite fascinating really, not scary, more of an out of body type experience. |

I went through two of them in Montreal, and one in Toronto.
The smaller ones were glasses in cupboards shaking mostly... but the big one in Montreal... my gf and I were playing cards at the kitchen table, and she said "stop it" and I said "what?" , she goes "stop shaking your leg under the table", I wasn't and stood up to proove it, then I looked around and turned down the stereo, and everything was shaking in the house. It went for about 2 minutes, and unforunately not long enough to get her to my bed to take advantage of this natural phenomenon ;) |
