deadmau5 in future music mag...free samples
View this Thread in Original format
JOE-SCULLY
the lastest future music mag out has a dvd interview with deadmau5.not the best of interviews on giving tips and tricks away but seems like a sound bloke from it....just a simple dude that wants to make music...

the best part of it is he gives away a load of free samples kicks.hihats.snares/clpas and some very good loops....

so fair play if you are reading this deadmau5 for the samples :) at the moment i cant afford to but the full sample pack they have out because im out of work. so hopefully when get back working it be one first things ill buy!!

Ouch, that's not nice at all - watch out, he'll call you out.....

by free samples do you mean, he says they're free but in the fine print they're not and he'll then sue you for using them even if you're some small-time producer getting his first release? :p

Well, if you don't pay for something and it's given to you, then it's free, right?

"Free" is not the same as Royalty or rights free.

Totally pointless to buy this if it isn't royaltie-free.

Just thought, because since all his samples that's included with FL isn't royaltie-free and everybody assumed that they were until people started getting sued for using them. So it wouldn't be a big surprise if the same conditions was applied here. (I don't use FL though).
But anyway, I'm sure the samples are tasty. I like deadmau5's tracks.
