Maybe this has been thought of already... (pg. 4)

Not if you randomly shift frequency modulation, right? At the very least, it should wind up taking a whole lot longer. |

So you're saying it's possible? |

Unless, say, you had an operative on the inside who had access to engineering. |

Technologically enabled telepathy? Yes, but only if you can match the frequency modulation variance. |

Are we talking about telepathy or star trek? I'm lost now. |

Operative? On the INSIDE? I'm calling Admiral Satie.
Or I could just match frequency modulation and phone her telepathically.
It's all jumbled together now, K. |

Seems pretty straight forward. What's the big deal? I guess it then becomes a question of whether or not technologically enhanced telepathy is still considered telepathy. |

As I said to Moral Hazard (during the worst possible time to get a serious answer), I don't see why it wouldn't, since it accomplishes the same thing that the 'other' telepathy would accomplish, unless it's dependent upon the existence of some other element I'm not taking into account.
I'm sure there are a number of things in which merely assuming function of something else is insufficient to make it 'that thing,' but I don't see why that would be the case with the scenarios we're discussing here. |

See, that's why abstract thinking is so pwn..because there's never any dependent variables. Everything is possible. :D |

One does not simply reulate the modular to the south proton modorfus wing.
