note to promoter...

Please have a better opening dj...that guy was cheesy and the other guy on the stage who was pumping up the crowd sucks lol that nigga made me laugh...made a fool out of themself on there...

Tritonal who opened up for Ferry last week was a lot better =)

what the ????dubose set was very good. you must not go to a lot of shows, your probably one of the people that comes out only when the big names come out. i agree the guy that was on the side needed to get the off.

Haha thanks man.

everyone has their own opinion and I know that what i played may have not been what everyone in the crowd wanted to hear but about 99% of them did want to hear it and rocked the out to it. Im still on a hi from that night.

And what that guy doesn't realize it that when a opening dj likr Tritonal wants to play big room banging trance music like they did and will always do it that they have to have permision from ferry or markus schulz to play that music. and since they are signed on to both of their record labels they were given the permission to do so. If some jo blow was to get a chance to open and got up there and banged out at 136 the headliner may not even play and leave the club PISSED.

on another note i have seen promoters crumble in past years for not really knowing what their doing and letting opening dj's try to out play the headliners, and im sure this could be a tread in it self. but all im saying is that I believe and so do many others that a night is all about a progression. And Above & beyond show that was shown, it was a 5 hour progression and turned out to be one of the best shows so far in the minds of some. It doesnt have to be a trance show either all genre's are like this.

Or less you like being the 2 pump chump and blowing all the good music at 9 pm :tongue3

the you smokin? please share with the rest of us. James Reed blows, so that's expected, but Cory's set was ridiculously good and i have to say the packed dance floor backs that statement up. that bitch filled in a matter of 2 or 3 songs after James got off and Cory started. i know your entitled to your opinion, but sometimes it can be wrong.

haha chill out dude its just an opinion place fills up quick cuz its a smaller venue.:) overall good show tho

i got there at about 10pm and there were plenty of people standing around the dancefloor. enough to fill it quite a bit. there were only a few people actually dancing and it stayed that way pretty much all the way through James' set. i was standing by the entrance and people were steadily pouring in, but not getting on the dancefloor and choosing to congregate all around it. after Reed got off and Cory got on, people migrated from their places around to dancefloor and began to go to it. i even commented to Carlos about it.

I didn't mean to come off as harsh, i'm just trying to state the facts. i understand the closer you get to a headliner, the more packed it gets, but i've seen openers pack a dancefloor hours before the headliners are up.

Reed's set made no musical sense...it's like he threw a bunch of tracks into an ipod and hit shuffle.

idk...i guess i tend to overthink things sometimes due to my extensive musical background and knowledge. i guess all it boils down to is that you enjoy the show and have a great time. i have to say, i my eyes, that's the best show i've been to. I've been going to shows since Tiesto in 06 @ Warehouse Live.
