Yea, I saw that the other weekend when Alex was playing. I thought that was just for his event. I dunno what the is going on there with that. Tables on the side was just fine.

On another note, I heard they were kicking people off the line again. What the is going on at that place?

that's something i don't get either (the bottle-only main room). there's no way the lower room and the side rooms are bottle-service. next time you're on the line without tickets tell them you're there for the hip-hop/top-40 party on the lower floor. if they want a dj name, look up at the sign and just give them whatever name does not look familiar to you.

that might work. there are no restrictions on movement between the various floors of the venue (except the balcony which is just closed).

The sign you look up above is the DJ in the main ballroom. I've never seen a lower room DJ's name up on the sign.

I'm actually curious to see what they would say if you had a ticket in hand and they denied you at the door.

not entirely sure what was up with the door again last night. I truly am sorry for the issues, especially for the people that didn't get in at all. The club didn't fill up til later in the night, so I can't imagine what the problem was.

Besides the door issues, I had a great time playing alongside Dave, who is a great dj, and such a cool guy. I really hope he plays there on a more regular basis. His sound definitely suits that room. My set was recorded by the Night Reveler guys, so I'll be posting it up soon, along with some pics/vids.

MIKE, the bill last night had someone named DJ Cassidy, I'm assuming that was the talent for the first floor, no?

I hope the issue gets fixed soon.

some pics. Not the greatest quality. The Night Reveler guys most definitely got better ones.

I don't really mind the couches and bottle service crap in the middle of the room. They don't rope off the area so you can still walk through it and everything. Looks like they're trying to improve the crowd and promote bottles. Still plenty of room to dance, couches and tables just break up the space a little. Whatever.

As for the line, it looks like they're being a little more selective. But when I got there it was basically a crowd of people around the ropes, complete cluster of people. If you're on a list you got in...eventually...without any real problems. If you had bottles you get right in. But it seemed like if you weren't one of those people, you were standing out there for a good amount of time.
