| I'm not religious, but I still can't help believing that good souls go to a better place when they die. I'm sure your dog is in that better place. He had a good life and brought joy into the lives of others while he lived. What more can you ask for? |

| knowing you are doing what's best for your friend doesn't make it easy to have them put down. I said goodbye to one of my dogs of 12 years at the start of this year. I still miss Kai and I know my other dog does too, I remember her as the bouncy dog she was for most of her life, not just the old dog she looked towards the end. |

I hate reading this kind of thing, because I know that one day I'll have to do the same thing to my dog, and it will probably be the most painful thing I'll ever have done. I know some people might think "it's just a dog" but I know that there's never been any "just" about it.

| Really sorry for your loss. My dog recently turned 14 so I can kinda feel where you're coming from, she's been having a lot of problems lately and it's heartbreaking. |
