Eyeglasses Stores in Mississauga?

Does anybody have any recommendations for eyeglasses stores in Mississauga? I'm going to wear a pair of glasses over the next couple of months while I wait to have my second laser eye surgery. I visited Heartland Town Centre last night (Hakim and Laurier): the former was too expensive and the latter didn't have the kind of style I'm after (i.e., rimless or semi-rimless, square design).
Any ideas where I can score a good deal on eyeglasses in Mississauga?
Thanks everybody :D |

Depends on your prescription. I paid $4000. My prescription was -8.00. The $4000 gives me lifetime coverage. |

I was about to get it, and I think it came to about $3,500.
But that was like 4 years ago and I needed the special PKR surgery because of my cornea.
Turns out I wasn't eligible to get them...
I was on the surgery table too, and the laser eye surgeon informed me that he didn't feel comfortable performing the surgery on me because of possible complications.
There is a decent eye glass store at Eglinton & The Chase (like 2 major interesections East of Erin Mills).
It's inside the asian complex in a strip mall. It's where the HSBC is.
They had pretty much all of the top designers glasses for a decent price. Definitely cheaper then you could get a hakim. And you could easily negotiate with them.
My prescription is like -7.50 or something like that and they gave me extra thin featherweight lenses for dirt cheap.
And I'm sure if you pay in cash you could probably get a good discount..

| The lenscrafters at EMTC also has a good selection and a vision testing centre right next door. Im biased since I live right across the street. |

Thats where I got my new glasses (different city).
Really good selection and you save 30% if you have certain health insurance or CAA |

Where abouts? I use to live right across the street too.
I use to live on Erin Centre Blvd. between Winston Churchill & Glen Erin.

silly you :)
I'm -2 and I don't even wear my glasses much, only at work most of the time
I also heard that's it's a good idea to wait till your vision stops dropping/changing, so waiting till you're in your late 20's basically |
