imagine this will ruin his career alot. poor guy. i hate to fly myself but not beacuse of fears but of all the ing kids crying, the nasty food, the too thight seats, the ****** wasted fag next to you. pluss that im 1/2 of the times hangover. then its the airports godamn, it feels like my pride is raped everytime im on an airport, that. ing americans and their 9/11 ed up the whole world. happy new year everyone :D

nope. he has steady gigs on continental western europe as it is. if anything this will help because the demand is so high that when he does eventually make it - every show will be packed (happened here stateside).

have you even watched more than two games with the guy? at his peak defenders were drawn to him. he pulled people out of position - created space for others. not to mention the amount of times he didn't get the direct assist but started the run of the play.
and we won't even get into his contributions with dropping back and playing for the ball - not just sitting around waiting for your midfield/defense to go get it and pass it to you.

I AGREE Dennis B. was an exceptional player , maybe he was not a show off like Overmars but the guy was solid and a very important teammate.
I will never forget his amazing performance in France 1998 specially against Argentina , the game was pretty much handled by the guy he scored an goal and assisted the other one.

When he was playing for Ajax in the mid-90s, when Dutch football was very strong, he had a scoring ratio of better than one every two games. He had the potential to be a world class goalscorer, and that "one every other game" ratio is the benchmark of that. I think he had the ability to be that good.
Actually though, I've just read he had 166 assists while playing for Arsenal, which is a hell of a lot more than I realised. Perhaps my memory of him is dominated a bit too much by his last few years at the club, when he wasn't the same force he had been earlier in his career.
