When he was playing for Ajax in the mid-90s, when Dutch football was very strong, he had a scoring ratio of better than one every two games. He had the potential to be a world class goalscorer, and that "one every other game" ratio is the benchmark of that. I think he had the ability to be that good.
Actually though, I've just read he had 166 assists while playing for Arsenal, which is a hell of a lot more than I realised. Perhaps my memory of him is dominated a bit too much by his last few years at the club, when he wasn't the same force he had been earlier in his career. |
he didnt play as many games towards the end, plus Wenger had his stupid policy of only offering short term contracts to players over 30...how I wish he stil played for us :(
whilst his goals / games ratio wasn't that high for us, he is still one of the best players we ever had - and one of the finest foreigners to play in the EPL |

good call. not to be mean or anything, but it's a plane, not a rocket ship. Airplanes are still the safest form of travel. |

I'm assuming he would be traveling 1st class or am I wrong here ?
That would help with the annoying kids, etc. If, I were Eric, I would get a legal prescription to some kind of anti-anxiety meds. |

Why medicate your body for something like this? The fear is all in his head and is completely possible for him to overcome. It's completely senseless to just throw drugs at it. The guy needs to get a grip, not pop a pill. |
