it would really be nice tho if it had timestretchning and ability to paste wavs in the sequencer. then id be happy
Beyer
Download Reaper, and use that to rewire reason to it, when/if in need of using audio tracks.
Propellerheads will never give us those tools, because they donīt want Reason to be
"an inferior Cubase".

I can't in my wildest dreams understand why people are so narrowminded today?

Reason has it's limits, cubase has it's flaws, logic isn't perfect, Sonar is great nowdays but not perfect and on and on and so forth and so on...

if you can achieve the sound you're aiming for with a sequencer then by all means...use that sequencer! But why paint yourself into a corner by saying "I will only use this one sequencer for the rest of my life"?

Focus on what's really important instead, your own creativity! :)

Theres no way you can be entirely original with Reason due to it being a closed program.

edit: IMO, thats why i havent bought it ;)

with that argument you basicly have to invent your own synth if you want to be original today?

I mean others use nexus, sylenth1, v-station, access virus etc etc.

Reason is a package with synths that generate waveforms, just like any other synth.

Entirely original? What do you mean? To be entirely original you would need to create your own synths (using a new synthesis method) make all your sounds including drums create your own effects, scales, time signature, a tempo no song has ever been made in 1,000,000,000,000 bpm maybe?

Only an idiot would be entirely original, i am betting you use sample packs for your percussion.
