If you actually think about what is in reason you start to see that is is pretty good.
imagine if the nnxt or redrum were available as vsts or thor for that matter I would probably have them in cubase......wait thats the point right if reasons bits were vsts I would put them in cubase .... LOL i accidently contradicted myself
Cubase + VST's Is pretty powerfull i think compared with reason |

Its the age old arguement, "use this, use that" "thats much better than using blah blah blah".
No one program is the golden ticket just use what you find comfortable and gives you the results you need. Everything has its pro's and cons. |

| I think its been changed by the artist. shame cos I'm intrigued in his work with reason as I use reason myself |

| They prolly took it down because of all the people talkin crap. Personally I thought the video didn't really prove much at all but, it was still interesting none the less. I use Ableton Live but, I used to be a Reason user, I like it alot, its just not my style, thats all. |

I'm not a Reason user and feel completely indiffererent towards the program, but this is a pretty silly thing to say. I find it akin to saying it'd be impossible to compose an original piece for the violin or piano because it's an instrument used by others.
Anyways, use Ableton IMO =P |

REASON SUCKS!
and so does cubase, logic, live, sonar and fruity..
The best program is winamp. I've heard some of the best production come out of that thing ;)
But seriously, I loved reason once.. then I learned fruity. So I loved fruity.. then I bought my first hardware synth... so I switched to cubase. Then I started performing live... so I got Ableton live... And now.. I use cubase for production and live for.. well... live. :)
And it works for me.
One DAW I could never figure out is sonar, though.. and I'd like to switch. But so far it's been a workflow killer for me. |
