| Hey kurai - In response to your statement "people who need drugs in order to listen to this kind of music suck"... off. Why do we suck? Because we don't have the same beliefs as you? So your opinion is the only right one, huh? Oh, I see. I by no means NEED drugs to enjoy trance at all. I listen to it every single day of the week, before work, after work, at home, on the weekends, all the time. But when I go out on Saturday night to have fun after a hard week, I like to take some beans and feel good and enjoy the music and the club that much more. So we suck because of that? When I didn't do drugs, I surely did not bash people that did. And now that I do, I do not bash people that don't take them. If someone is pushing drugs on you, then you have a right to get angry with them. But don't ing criticize the rest of us if we're not bothering you. |

Why don't you off? I can relax without any drugs, and I agree with PvD's opinion that it quite sucks that it's normal to spin in front of a drugged crowd. It's just not the same, but if you think you can be offending, expect the same. |

It has been the norm to spin to a crowd of ppl on drugs since trance hit it big back in the day. Playing to a crowd of ppl sober would be weird, and I guarantee there wouldnt be nearly as much yelling/screaming/whistling/clapping... |

Did Paul actually say anything in this commerical or are we just assuming his position on this topic because they used his music because he is a well known electronic producer/DJ?
Firstly, everyone has a right to their own opinion on doing drugs and, IMO, it does not make you less of a person. Secondly, drugs are drugs. Alcohol is just as bad as any other drug out there. It definitely kills more people than all other drugs combined. Just because it is accepted by society doesn't necessarily make it right or good. Smoking is also accepted to some degree by society and we all know what that does to you. Alcohol can ruin people's lives just as well as it can be the life of the party. So if you don't have anything nice to say...please don't say anything. I am tired of meeting people who think they are better than other people because they don't use drugs. Doesn't matter if they are illegal or legal. They can be just as good or just as bad if taken in moderation or abuse respectively. Most of the stuff we see on TV is usually the worst case scenario for taking drugs.
Ecstasy kills...please give me a break. Taking a flu shot can paralyze you for life or even kill you if you are allergic to them. You don't see commericals about that. If there were commericals about them, maybe my friend wouldn't have gone through what she had to go through. So next time please get the facts before you start blaming drugs. Drugs can be fun if you are careful and in moderation. So have fun and enjoy.

Kids, kids, kids.. Cut the crap out.. Like Angelick said, it's a matter of personal choice... If one likes to rave while high, it's good for him; if another prefers to dance sober, ditto.. Stop with the immature bash of each other... Personal freedom is the king, and it sucks when people try to bash you for it...
As for PVD, there's nothing wrong about him advertising an anti drug campaign... Basicly, I don't see no reason whatsoever why should of he refused to do so... Like I already said, people are free: it's not for PVD or whoever to dictate what's best for you.. Simply assume the responsabilities, and be happy ;) |

i myself am a non drug user. i do drink 'some' alcohol sometimes, but i know my 'limits'
its all about choice....and i guess everyone has a right todo what they please.
.....i have no problem with drug users...
as long as they dont harm anyone else..then its ok.
if they are harming themselves from the drugs, then hey, thats THEIR own problem....and im sure drug users know that too....

Well that is your choice and thank you for your opinion. It is duly noted and I could really care less. Just because something kills someone else doesn't mean it should be banned. Most drug users know what they are getting into and the only people they hurt when they start to abuse drugs is usually themselves. According to your logic cars should be banned, too. I'm come on, I am supposed to trust the guy in the next lane not kill me...please. You don't see me bashing people that drive cars, do you? Here's some info for you to educate your mind. Try understanding other people rather than trying to impose your beliefs on them.
