Though I've already hosted this kind of contest on our local, Polish forum, this experience didn't help much as I thought it'd be much easier for you. Armin's track being an unique and "Wooden Swordz" staying as a totally untouched sample are not the only events that really surprised me. OK, "In and Out of Love" sample was meant to be tricky, but the second one - believe me - not :). Anyway, thanks for your attention and participating. Congratulations to Echo of Silence, who was totally unpredictable at times :). Firstly she had requested a scoreline update to see her on the 1st place (when she actually wasn't) as she though it may be the only time with her in front and then she suddenly doubled her points not to leave the first place for the rest of the contest :). Congrats to other contestants. Thanks for your kind words about track selection, I hope you enjoyed it! |

I definitely missed a few of the straight forward ones: 01, 04, 33, 46, 48 (oh man the pvd beat alone), 52, 64...
as you know 23 was driving me nuts... duh, I even got the hawaii blue album.
but I would never have guessed 21 from that sample... ;)
I didn't hear of 68 before, was my favorite "unknown" sample from the bunch :)

You can make samples with almost any audio editing software (Adobe Audition is quite nice) and they re-encode the sample to the correct bitrate, which has been 128k for the last contests. |

I use MP3 Direct Cut + Lame encoder through foobar2000. |
