About a month ago I made a couple of ambient tracks in a similar style to the ones I posted a while back. These may be the last ambient things I do in a while, as right now I'm working on making some spacey and trancey dance stuff. But I'll probably still be working a little on my usual ambient / weird projects as I do that. Here are the tracks:
"Not So Fast" -- 7:42, 17.7 MB, 320 kbps [Sendspace]
"Dreams" -- 4:44, 10 MB, 320 kbps [Sendspace]
If you take a listen, tell me what you thought of them overall and what you liked or disliked about them. Thanks.

im going to review 'not so fast'
Intial thoughts in ,is that its rather heavy on the low end
nice pads further on
at about 3.30 , i think a arped line instead of the swooshy alien sound would of been more my style , but thats just my opinion.
thats a gorgeous pad at 4.50
i would of faded the bass out at 6.02 and faded in again a little later.
overall some sweet and good sounds in there , very relaxing. |

Downloading now.
BTW if you want some hosting space I can hook you up if you don't want to keep using sendspace or other free hosting.
Also Last.fm provides free hosting too if you create an artists account which is pretty cool since it gives you a bunch of other tools. |

Wow, both are very nice, Dreams is very soothing.
I like the pitchy sounds near the middle of Not So Fast, maybe a bit bright and loud, but still entertaining. The pad at the end is good, wish it'd not just faded out like that though.
I couldn't tell much about the dynamics of the track, as I am listening on my Macbooks speakers.
I'll probably be posting some stuff here in a few days, been getting the hang of Cubase lately and trying to feel comfortable in it. |

That would be great, thanks. Would I be able to use FTP, or would I just send the tracks to you and have you upload them? |

| Not So Fast @ 3:18 sounded like you were going to rip underworld especially as it builds into 3:30 |

| listened to both the otherday and i liked 'dreams' best. seems a bit rushed though. i think you need it to develop more gradually. |
