So they rushed to rent a private plane, Simone (sander's GF) went with that plane to make sure he got back on to get to Holland (he was living here to record ADD). she forklifted him of his bed, grabbed his record box to get him on the plane (now you dont mess with simone) So sasha arrived many hours to late and in state that cannot be describe any other than ed up to the max. He could barely stand and they had to push him on stage behind the decks to take over of Darren E who had bored everybody for 3 hours of mediocre tech house.. That Sasha even could mix 2 records and stand up straight was a miracle, but after providing him with some proper HQ semi-chemicals Wink he was and what a set he played!!! with story in the back of your head this set can be called brilliant.. The tracks are of the roof and his mixes awesome.. Sasha at his best.. |
That was the story of Sasha's life back then. That changed with the Delta Heavy tour, where he would have been hit with a $100,000 fine for missing a gig.
God I miss the old Sasha, the one that didn't smile :( |

Sasha really pitches up the tempo on both Lacuna and Papua New Guinea. I have a set where Sander K plays the same 2 tracks in the same exact order but they aren't anywhere near as fast as Sasha plays em |
