Secondly ... there are so many wankers such as yourself that HAVE to determin every genre of each record and trck that the minorities listen to you all and literally learn or try nothing to do with Genre crossing
Its as Simple as this...Mauros older Productions are harder than they used to be...Which IMO is how they should be...after all we all must progress...some how.
An as for choosing Specific Genres...He is playing a techno set...But he does trhow the odd classic or new Trance production in there...This would determin thet he is NOT 'Pure techno'

I know for a fact that Picotto mixes like a Trance DJ - Techno DJ's are amazing turntablists, three decks are essential :lol: and the very fact that Picotto 'waters' his sets down with 12 minute Chill out mixes of Cafe Del Mar makes him Less Techno.
As I've said a thousend times, playing Techno Records Doesn't make you a Techno DJ - until you play the records like a Techno DJ. |

Two 6 Hour sets at Gatecrasher, and his last set in Cream - in the Courtyard, I also have countless downloaded sets, and nearly all of his 'Picotto' 12" singles.

People seem to be getting me Wrong.
I absolutely LOVE Picotto - i am not slagging him off - he just isn't a Techno DJ, simple as. Kick ass producer though :p |

Sorry :( I just haven't heard the new mix yet so I can't discuss it, I have already mentioned though that I cannot wait to get hold of it. Does anyone have a rip of it? Even off the radio? |

Also...I have a question for you all...
Do you really think that every DJ plays a set 100% of the same kind of music? No ofcourse not, a set must progress, in accordance to this...so does the music.
Also...Every week a new tune is made/released...and a new genre name has to be fitted to it...
It really Pisses me off. |
