:wtf:
Just got this from beatport. Wouldn't have thought it possible, but they have turned this into an absolute STOMPER. That previously sedate acid melody is now a whirling head .
Awesome, just awesome. This is exactly what a remix should be like; something totally different, yet still using all the original parts. Too many producers these days remixing by making completely new tracks then throwing a few parts from the original on top. |

No, it's not. A remix is taking the components from the original song and modifying, twisting, reversing, looping, filtering, stretching, equalising or otherwise changing them and using them to create something new, different and hopefully good. A couple of new elements can be added tastefully.
On the other hand, making an original song from scratch and then throwing a few bars of the breakdown from the song you were "remixing" over the top defeats the purpose of the whole process. |

| It's funny, beatport and audiojelly are both advertising it as "exclusive". |

That's a really interesting way actually, call me a n00b for remixing (w/e) but i never really looked at it like that.
Unless i'm completely naive to what actually happens when you remix?
I don't know.
Top marks for the remix though  :eyespop: |
