| it's good, but i like the older stuff better. this album reminds me of m83 quite a bit, not necessarily in a bad way. favorite track is #1 |

| Upon second listen this album is getting more "meh" for me. I've grown to liking "Your Mouth" a bit better though. |

agreed, it sounds more "pop-y" than their previous albums, and as i said before it totally sounds like an m83 album. definitely like sasha's remix of "you are the..." more than the original too. the album as a whole sounds pretty raw and almost unfinished, as opposed to their previous albums which were produced really well and had a crisp, clean sound to it if you know what i mean. or perhaps i've smoked too much crack. |

They haven't hidden the fact its meant to be different to their earlier work - in fact one of them did a little interview type thing outling the process behind the creation of it which states as much. |

| Fahrenheit Fair Enough is far better. This is ... safer. They used way more vocals, more reserved time signature, etc. It is not as adventurous. I doubt I will listen to the album again, but I still listen to FFE often. |

i thought the same thing about "map of what is effortless", so i wasn't necessarily surprised by the amount of vocals on this one |

| This was god but not as brilliant as the previous ones. Map of what is effortless is just a masterpiece and a classic to me. |
