View this Thread in Original format VDub Airbus A320 with 155 ppl on board went into the river with no fatalities and no major injuries... PPl said they saw it go into a flock of geese which took out the engines... The Captain said that they were going down and for the paasengers to brace for impact... He then performed a perfect, textbook, emergency water landing in 0 degree water... My hats off to the crew of this plane for doing a perfect job and saving everyone on board... I was watching it on Daily Planet while doing homework so I didnt catch everything... but... Something happens to prevent water from entering the fuselage. So since the plane isnt filling up with water maybe thats why it hasnt sunk. - sorry I should have paid more attention Inrush just saw the news report.
