anyone know of anyone(or maybe themselves) who are currently without power, and braved the cold last night?
a couple of my friends came back to the burbs so they wouldnt freeze to death.

| One of my employees brought his mother to work today because she was without power and heat. |

one of the ladies at work lives right by Dufferin Station where the blackour affected them
she said their house got very cold overnight |

lol my mom woke me up at 6 in the morn to find out if i had power or not... obviously i do have power....our furnace however is non functional...

It wasn't city wide. Only affected like 20,000 people or so. Which is still a lot.
One of the ladies in our office said that she was 1 house away from losing power. Everyone else to the west of her lost their power but she didn't.
Her kids were happy because they had a day off, and had power at home...

its not city wide if not everyone is affected...I, for one, wasn't affected and I live around dundas and ossington |

Subway between Dufferin and Spadina is still out
I'm guessing everyone living between that quad is out of power too |

that's so sad :( i was thinking about what i would do in this situation and yeah, i'd bring my fam to work too!
or take them to a fam friend's house or something. |
