I want to make a short film for fun but I cant conjure up any ideas. I'd like to hear some of yours, just something funny/stupid nothing too complicated. If any of you give me some material I like I'll put you in the credits.
Since I live in the barracks i have a plethora of people that can be actors so I'd probably be able to find someone to fill your characters. I turn to you guys cause I know there's a lot of creative people on here with some crazy brains.
Let em rip!:)

How about this:
It's about a guy that has been cast for a very small roll in a movie. You show how he's trying to act a scene, the director can only be heard from the off. So in every take the director shouts at this guy after a few seconds for doing something wrong. After a few times the guy becomes more and more frustrated and scared cause he doesn't know what to act and what's going on. And the screams of the director become more menacing and bizarre. He turns for help to the other actors, but must realize that they are not human, more like robots that only come to life at the directors command. I've got an idea how it might continue, but you can just write your own ending.
The whole thing is supposed to be surrealistic and scary, with eerie sounds / music and bleak lighting.

They should make a film about doing just that.

how about a movie called 'the best thing since sliced bread' its about a young lad who was unfortunate enough to be called 'sliced bread' by his parents. hes at work one day, in the office, and he overhears one of his colleagues say in the distance, "man, staplers are the best thing since sliced bread". sliced bread walks home from work, churning this revelation over and over in his head, until he gets home, makes a nice stew for dinner, and grabs an uncut loaf out of the cupboard to eat with it. he reaches for his sharpest bread knife, and begins to cut, but cant keep his hand steady and ends up cutting a little corner off of the loaf.. and continues to do this until the whole loaf of bread is ruined as it is in small chunks, and not in slices. he quickly runs to the local shop, and buys a loaf of sliced bread. gets home just in time before his stew is ruined.. butters his bread, sits down on the coach to watch 'joey' on TV with his dinner, dips his bread into his lovely stew, and puts it in his mouth and chokes to death. proving that sliced bread is the worst thing to sliced bread, since sliced bread

There's this loser who's living in a apartment building and in love with his landlady. She lives right next to him, and sometimes her dog comes over at night to sleep next to his bed. But he's paranoid and mistakes the dog's breathing for that of the devil coming for him, and so one night he kills the dog with a toaster and the landlady when she confronts him. He then flees and is hidden from the police at a rave by a guy named Moose.

first scene vietnamese war vet in a car
smoking cigg
starts having a flash back
runs out of his car trippin out yelling things like NOOOO SAMMY NOOOO!!!FUUUCCCKK ARRRR
and the war vet runs into a building.
inside the building is a paintball course and it some lil asians kids birthday and hes having a bday party
so viet war vet runs on the course and is like oh , im in the again.
and totally wigs out
then the rest of the film would be him kidnapping the kids, going all commando. snapping necks, tying a kid up and torturing him in one of those paintball bunkers. just literally funny ways of kickin the crap out of these kids.
game ends.
he goes outside and a bunch of iraqi's come in for the next game
