A couple buddies of mine are driving down from the twin cities for WMC too. I just need to figure out which parties I wanna go to. I can only skip a couple days of work and I gotta ask for those days off pretty soon, unfortunately. I was expecting spectacular shows lined up for Friday & Saturday atleast. So far...meh.
What are your must-see events? |

Yep. It is. A few had to take a pay cut to be able to make budget cuts within the company. At least i still have a job for now. If things get worse not sure what will happen with us.
Anyway I still am gonna go to a few WMC parties & hang with some out of town TA's I want to catch up with.

You have to. I call this my weekend vacation at home. It only happends once a year. Even though this has been a really hard year for me too, I have to go to a few events. I would die inside if all this was going on and I didnt get to jump in it at least a little. |

I agree. Ive been going the last four years as a vacation from work but I won't be able to enjoy it like ive done so those last four years.
Im looking at possibly on the fri & sat night instead of the whole week. Lets see what happens from now til then. :(

| you bitched, they listened. eventually when everyone whines about how sucky wmc has become, the word spreads to promoters and they opt out on wmc this year. either that or its the economy. or house music is getting stale. or all of the above. |
