Portuguese, Spanish, English, and that strange language women seem to speak and that makes no sense whatsoever (so it just accounts for the decimals) :D

| Speaking of Portuguese, it's funny how neighboring countries usually hate each other and we as outsiders don't have a clue. For example, my sis stayed in Spain as part of her college degree. She asked her sponsors about spending a week in Portugal. They said that the Portuguese loath the Spanish and if you try to speak Spanish you'll get a very cold reception. |

Well, it's not that we hate our neighbours or anything (I'm speaking as a Brazilian, as we too are surrounded by Spanish speaking countries), but it's kinda like the French and the English language. Most people think that, if you're in their country, you should at least make some effort to learn the local language. And, because Portuguese and Spanish are similar, it sounds like you're being lazy... besides, nobody likes those wee smelling Spaniards :p (just kidding)
Personally, I don't think I care. As long as you try to make yourself understood, I will try to understand you. |
