The problem is very simple. All music is art, but music exists on that spectrum between entertainment and art. Music is an entertaining art form. To ask for "artsy" trance implies trance towards the artistic end of the spectrum, defined by all the conventional markers of high art. It implies intellectual depth, sophistication and merit above other trance which is not worthy of the moniker "artsy". Either you have an idiosyncratic definition of art or nobody else can see why the tracks you have listed are any more artistic than than other trance, including the stuff you've decried.
You can't huh? Not even tiny winy little bit? Yes, art is a very old and prestigous term and for some people, unchangable. I appreciate that kind of persistance. So let's call them "great tracks" or "big achievements in sound" etc. Trance isn't exactly groundbreaking or memorable like classical music. I'll stop it here. But what I hate is melodramatic, too poppish and cheesy music and when mixed in trance, ignores its purpose. Pop creates hybrids and I don't know what their point is. At least they annoy me 8)

So that is very personal.
Just that I understand what you mean, what about vocals like in:
I my opinion vocals in both tracks are very nice, if you would call them vocals...
Same for classics as "Don't you want me" and "Open you mind". To me these very limited vocals really added something to the tracks. Somewhere I have a version of Vincent de Moor's Flowstation with one line of vocals added. For some reason I always liked that tiny add.

Tenth chapter - Wired is nice. Can't seem to find that remix though and I prefer buying music. Yeah and uhh.. VOCALS are fine but lyrics hardly ever are. I like ambient chorus.
